It’s important to fuel your body with a variety of nutrients. Green Smoothies everyday can actually contribute to inflammation over time and for some people the effects can often be overlooked and blamed on other foods.
The Inflammation I refer to here is not just muscular but within. If you’re feeling flat or irritable or feel that smoothie high then hit that low (and consider that it’s time to eat or drink) or even if you’re feeling just not yourself it can all be from how you start your day.
Green Smoothies are a powerhouse don’t get me wrong. I love them, I’d live on them! But too much of a good thing can do no good so change it up, get creative with the blender and what you have around and get to know what foods do for you (the good and the bad)
A couple chunks of fresh pineapple
Handful of grapes
1 Raw egg
A chunk of peeled cucumber (a nice juicy one)
A few activated nuts
1 tsp maca powder
couple grates of fresh ginger
160ml Coconut Water
2 Tbsp Coconut Cream or Coconut Flesh
Shredded coconut to top and a few unsweetened raw cacao nibs (because I love them)
